A little bit later getting these two done but it has been a very busy start to term!!
I watched the video on digital footprints and read the guidelines and case study on E-professionalism. As I have been a teacher in a High school for the past 11 years I am very conscious of my online footprint and making sure that my personal Facebook page is closed and conscious of who I am friends with. I have a Twitter account which I use for more professional purposes and networking with other PE staff around Scotland and beyond, as this is more open I am much more careful about what I write on there and keep it very professional and do not share any personal/family information.
I was not surprised that when I Googled my name that nothing cane up that was about me (other than my Ed uni research explorer profile.
When looking at the permissions on my apps I was surprised by the number that had permissions such as
'Take pictures and videos'
'Record audio'
'Control vibration'
'Prevent phone from sleeping'
'Modify your contacts'
'Modify or delete contents of SD card'
